Music Projects (amateur)

An attempt at making industrial, or at least harder sounding techno. I no longer wanted to bother with making ambient. I also wanted to start using hardware synths instead of software. Boy does the hardware feel much better. Originally I did this work under the name "Statik!" but later realized that the name (sans exclamation point) had already been taken and some people were confused as to how this shitty music of mine fit into Statik's catalog.

The Nature of Nurture MiniEP

• We Are Nothing but Incredible Machines - Another song, like Conduit, that just came out of nowhere. I like the piano part, I like the grainshifting effect alot, so I really use the hell out that effect.
• Tolswipz - A random song, I use the "ice" instrument too much in this (you'll know the one I am talking about)

Feather in my Throat, Plug in my Spine EP

• Polybius - My first track attempting
• Back in the Lab - My immediate second. Written to be quick, dirty and harsh. It is.
• Conduit - A bit-to-dancy song that I ended up writing. Was not at all planning to write it though, it just sort of happened.
• Lady Marseilles - A cover of a song by a band called "Franklyn Silver and Oliver Brask" that I am in the process of trying to make. This link is just the most recent version of it. It is a work-in-progress that I come and go to. I should note that one of the members of FSaOL, Elliot, is currently part of the Madison local band Moorebeck Stellar which is, incidentally, or not so incidentally, quite good. I suggest checking it out, some of the most genre-defying music I have heard in a long while, and great to relax/dance/sleep/read/drive/drink/hump the floor/etc to.
