Inebriated Assistant

My first music project. Okay, that's a lie. But my first music project was really just me mixing factory loops on a friend's MC-505, not really creative. Not at all. Thus it is not included anywhere on this site (in fact, I couldn't if I wanted to, I lost the CD). This was done (with the exception of Clove Deck which was done with a microKORG) completely using software synths. Oh yeah, I got the name 'Inebriated Assistant' from The Wu Name Generator. Note that I don't really know the music of Wu-Tang Clan well, I just got a kick out of the name it generated. The following list is in the order that I wrote the songs, so you can trace a progression from crappy to okay.
Aural Prozac
- Pollen - First track. Very minimal. Nothing much at all.
- Arbor Vitae - Originated as a track for The Shock Project, but I spiced it up a bit.
- Crop Circle - This one is repetitive but cool. Shuffling sound in the background is a bit creepy.
- Gestalt - This one never ended up how I wanted it.
- Gestalt (Reprise) - This was the piano revision of Gestalt. A bit self-indulgent really.
- Sintered Glass - My attempt at making a beat-oriented techno song. Breaks the entire style of IA, and really sounds weak as well. Oh well.
- The Reason - This is my favorite song. Slow, sad, and written from 3am to noon after a night of partying.
- Dead Gods - I wanted to explore some more orchestral stuff after making 'The Reason'
- Clove Deck - I started acquiring hardware synths, and used one to say goodbye to IA by making a counterpart to Pollen
